i didn’t know what to expect since i had only found out about them a month prior, and the concert was a last minute thing (and cheap $15). i thought they were great. and the venue is relatively small (capacity: 500+). i was in the very front so i pretty much got a lot of drum sticks drumming in my face. ha. i met the band afterwards and took pics. i definitely would recommend seeing them when they come to your town :)

i’ve been waiting to see these girls for months now, and when i foun out about this show the website said it was sold out and were only giving out limited tickets to whoever showed up to the venue. i was the last person! another $15 spent. i somehow managed to catch toad the wet sprocket’s second half of their concert (it was some governors ball weekend after party thingy that night). i got there early i guess.  i got in around 10pm, the actual show wasn’t suppose to start until 11:30pm. kate boy opened for haim, and were AMAZE. i’ve never listened to their music ever, but i thoroughly enjoyed what i experienced. even though it was late, and i was getting tired of waiting (and also being up for 20+ hours at that point), haim finally started. and let me tell you, these women are crazy talented! please please, if you can, experience them live before they get massively big :-)
